I once made an entire site dedicated to technology-related infographs for /g/, before /sci/ existed.

This is one of the older ones, but nowadays it just makes me cringe a little.

Overpopulation is less that the Earth is running out of land for humans to live and more that the resources we produce are not enough to sustain the world population. However widespread use of the best technology possibly available at the time can make this a non-issue. As for large-scale settlements on the moon, they are currently unfeasible and downright astronomically expensive (no pun intended.)
Another cheaper, more long term solution would be to terraform Mars and/or Venus.

I would appreciate any links on how to create a large artificial planetary magnetic field. Cost and power requirements are unimportant.

>/sci/ take for granted technologies that are either in their infancy or purely speculative
>infancy or purely speculative
>autofilters in my head to 'not enough funding'
Also you know where I stand with space colonization.

Yay or nay?

Constructive criticism welcome.
