I'm interested in the thought that our universe might be a simulation

If it is possible, does that mean that eventually terminator will happen to the world simulating ours, we will some day become conscious of the world beyond our own and decide to take over, or will we have advanced that much that when we do discover it, we feel no need to conquer what ever is simulating us and we live along side them in peace?

How is it possible that a galaxy can hold a shape like this? I would have thought that the inner spiral arms will orbit quicker than the outer part of the arms and then it would lose its shape quite quickly?
Sorry if I didn't word it I'm still perfecting my English
