My only worry is that too many are following a religion. It is best if people are in dissonance for the sake of critical thinking.
Our problems today are largely tied not to religious, scientific or philosophical conformity though. Most is tied to cartel conformity of thought - i.e. a physical oppression of thought for the sake of survival interests.
This is by far the worst "cult" problem out there. The cult of the brotherhood and the cult of the state. The cult of society itself.

And this is coming from me, the cult of the dissent.
