Agreed, people always underestimate themselves. We can handle climate change.

>Scientists Find Socially Anxious People Are Highly Intelligent
https://www.lifehack.org/297789/scientists-find-socially-anxious-people-are-highly-intelligent

>Of course, that's why I'm a social retard. It's because I'm a big brain!
I can imagine how many of you genuinely believe this.

You can have the biggest brain in the world but it's not gonna get you very far in terms of success if you can't do socializing.

How do big brains cope with this fact?

Why can't people just leave things alone and let things sort itself out?

>According to a study published in the science journal Nature Communications, land-based vegetation has boosted its carbon dioxide absorption by 17 percent compared to 30 years ago. Even more astonishing, the study notes, these land plants are using less water to do so.

>In other words, as the planet's CO2 levels rise, plants are soaking up more of it — and doing it significantly more efficiently.

Just think of all the man hours wasted and economic damage trying to fix a problem (climate change) that would eventually fix itself.

Another example is the hysteria with Tasmanian Devils with transmissible cancer, all the man hours wasted on trying to prevent them going extinct and in the end some of them developed an immunity to the disease.

Big brain here, I don't use toilet paper. I honestly can't remember the last time I wiped my ass. I always get in the shower and point the shower head towards my asshole.

Do you think it's better to understand proofs or just accept that something has been proven and apply the results of a proof to problems?

I used to the be the former and now I'm the latter, I think it's way more productive to not worry about understanding proofs.

I think having aphantasia isn't a disability it forces you to think more efficiently than normies I've always been better than most people at learning skills.

Why would NPCs be in a really tiny minority, like 2-3%? I bet aphantasia has its pros.

What math terminology would you change if you could?

For example, instead of referring to the "domain" and "range" of a function you refer to "valid inputs" and "valid outputs" of a function, yeah it's an extra word but the clarity is worth it.

Anyone else really want to learn something but too lazy to do it? Like you end up having a wank, watching anime, etc.

How do you stop being lazy, /sci/?

what is after infinity??

if first FINITE, then INFINITE, then what? like no matter how many infinities you put together, you will never reach ININFINITE?

i asked my calculus professor this and he told me there are different sizes of infinities. Then I asked like WHAT is to INFINITE that INFINITE is to FINITE? and he was like maybe you should define a new mathematical concept then

Should I do it? do I get nobel prize?

Is it absolutely proven that nothing can go faster than light? Does the possibility of disproving this even exist? I was reading about quantum entanglement and how the reaction time of a particle in comparison with an entangled opposite is FTL, what does this say about the universal speed limit?

Why is it that nearly all schizophrenics speak of religion and prophecies or quote religious text? [All schizophrenics I have ever seen were from shows or YouTube]
