alright /sci/, anyone willing to give me help on understanding just what the hell smith charts represent and/or how to use them properly? Thusfar in my RF related stuff i haven't needed to se them but it seems like something i may need in future

it was a great day when the physics profs came down to my active devices lab to ask how to bias a transistor correctly, something being taught to engineer 2nd year undergrads
