That's right. God created man and woman, so he could give man and woman free will, so he could ask them to not do something "bad" before they even had knowledge of good and evil, so that when they used their free will to do that "bad" thing, they got punished forever.

Sorry I can't have faith in that. Also, which of these Gods in the picture should It take that leap of faith with? I've read a lot fo their stories for fun, and though I don't believe in them, a lot of them seem to have values that are a lot closer to mine than fucking Yahweh.

You can say fairies and unicorns cause gravity to exist, but until you have evidence to back that statement up, we will continue accepting that gravity is simply the curvature of spacetime caused by massive objects.
