I like to daydream a lot but,

What would the space program have been like if Earth had multiple moons?

Or even if the Earth itself was a moon orbiting a gas giant with other moons nearby?

I'll have a go answering:

It's a chemistry reaction so complex that has been going CONTINUOUSLY for the past four and a half billion years.

So yes, it's just complex chemistry, in the same sense that Andromeda is very far away from us, or the sun is really hot - it's more complex so many orders of magnitude greater that language does not express it properly.
