>when a basement dweller tries to debunk the scientific method
Try actually doing some science or at least studying it outside of plebbit and pol.
It's quite common for scientists to not use the real "scientific method". They have flashes of inspiration in their sleep, etc.
That's why the study isn't complete until they can tell the story as if they had followed it, so other people can actually understand and reproduce their shit.
Otherwise we'd just have faggots writing magic spellbooks with arcane recipes that nobody (including themselves) understands.

It's almost as if "IQ" is only weakly correlated with intelligence.

>Unlikely considering that you do nothing but regurgitate half-baked talking points.
YOU ASKED for examples. You got two so now it's time to change the subject, right? Can't help but notice that you've repeated the phrase "talking point" in post after post. Is that really all you have despite your love for "compelling" arguments?

>"My fellow smart people all think like this, so I will too!" is invariably the guiding principal for most of
the academic left, barring the humanities nutjobs who actively drink that Kool-aid.
I'm familiar with the usual brainlet appeals to motive and reductionism: "Groupthink", "validation", "virtue signaling", and "arrogance".
But you seem to be a bit lost. We're not talking about liberal and conservative people here, we're talking about which set of beliefs is more compatible with facts and logic (and therefore more prevalent among higher IQ individuals). You also unironically seem to think that anecdotes of dumb liberals invalidate the claim that liberal beliefs are associated with higher intelligence.

Should I major in stats or pure math? I'm pretty interested in deep learning and machine learning so I'm leaning towards stats, but I want to keep my options open (finance). Wthat do?

Peterson is brainlet fodder and if you like him, you should fuck off
