I was diagnosed with hemiparesis when I was a child, and I went to a resort for a few weeks every summer, at the behest of my physician, to treat the weakness in my right arm and leg.
There, they put paraffin on my limbs, and I also underwent electrostimulation, "laser therapy" (i.e they shone an LED light on my leg), and "magnetodiaflux" (wherein I spent 10-15 minutes every day in pic related). Now, none of this shit helped and I still walk with a slight limp to this day. The question is: was any of that legit medical practice, or just quackery?
