3rd semester already started, between this semester topics i have FFT, Euler, Z-transform, Cauchy, Mechanic Waves,complex variables, Circuits AC & DC, more C++ shit Structures and Data Bases, and im scared

Even thought i managed to get the BEST scores throught all the past semester (second), I HAD ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA OF WHAT WAS I DOING

I'm thinking of changing my career from sales to something in the IT field but I'm unsure which way I want to go. I love tech but I'm pretty sure sitting in front of a computer all day would drive me mad. If I decide to become a network engineer, would I be spending alot of time doing hands on work (racking, building, working with routers/switches)?

i'm actually not sure if this is ambiguous or not. tbh i've never seen something like that in real life, because everyone would just write -4 or 4 instead of -2^2.

at least i know that with polynomials the exponentiation comes first, so -x^2 means -(x^2). but -x isn't a number, it's the additive inverse of the number represented by x. so the minus sign in this case is sort of an operator and i think the argument of the angry mathematician still holds.
