its still hypochondria, but now everone is forced to have health insurance so the doctor know it's going to get paid, so its willing to "treat" your condition with some sort of useless (at best) placebo.
in the past mentally ill hypochondriacs mostly didn't have money so nobody wanted to treat them and their imaginary concerns were rightly ignored.
but now they get catered to instead because the self centered attention hungry hypochondriacs can selfishly waste other people's money via health insurance so doctors cater to them which in turn only exacerbates their hypochondria
