Would it be possible to neutralise the effectiveness of ISIS bombs by adding catalysts to the reactants used to make them? I read somewhere that ISIS have been using Triacetone Triperoxide as their explosive of choice due to it being easy to obtain the reactants. If a catalyst were added to one of the raw materials which made the finished product become gaseous more quickly, would that be enough to mean they couldn't safely transport the explosive?

Pic unrelated

Can atheromas/thrombuses travel against the direction of blood flow? It seems like it should be easier to screen for heart attack victims than it presently is considering the coronary arteries branch off pretty shortly after the aorta, so there is a very short area in which the obstruction could develop before it could cause vascular occlusion of those arteries. Am I missing something about the development of things that can cause an MI?
