Operationally, we behave as if there is no dragon in our garage which will visibly do something tomorrow.

Protip: the supernatural, if at all relevant, is observable. We haven't yet seen it, despite our looking for it, and thus is this proof against.

There is no dragon in your garage.

>All you've really done is apply the numbers valid for a 'constant c' universe to the new value -- predictably, doubling all distances.
>And you left out the value of the moving debris cloud, which would change your tangent value, and the light for that to get here.
>Also, neglecting the delta didn't help; the amount and time it took for 'c' to change to current values.
Complications which can be safely ignored. The analysis comes out the same.

>But the basic reason this doesn't conflict with Bible adherents is that anything could have been created in-process, too.
>1987A may be as distant as all that, but to create the universe in-progress, there would also be photons coming toward us from such an event. At creation, those photons would have been made almost all the way here from there.

To such people, I would say "So, it looks exactly as if the universe was created 13 something billion years ago, and all of "atheistic" science was correct? Yes? Good. I'm glad we're in agreement."

A young Earth creation hypothesis indistinguishable from an old Earth is no hypothesis at all. It's an invisible dragon. Pic related.

This is what I read:
>The existence of an invisible dragon in my garage cannot be proven or disproven and thus garage dragon agnosticism is the only valid garage dragon opinion.
>Deal with it.
