Fuck I must be one of those zebras they teach us on medschool, qualitative sleep disorders are weirdly familial in my case, my sister have recurrent sleep paralysis, my mom used to have them too but eventually disappeared on her 40s or so.

I usually have them during exams week, when sleeping too little the night before or when falling asleep while being stressed or worried. My sis told me that she wakes up in the middle of the night and usually feels the presence of something, like a shadow moving or looking directly at her, sometime she told me she could hear it talking but it was just gibberish.

Personally I have them during hypnagogia, just in the transition from wakefulness to sleep and feel like background static that gets louder and louder as time passes, some times I feel like pressure all around my body or like if I were free falling, generally with that feeling that something is watching you from the corner or something. The first time this happened (I was like 7 or so) I got really fucking scared because the feeling of not being able to move while being totally conscious is just terrifying, you get used to it eventually and learn ways to get faster out of it like holding your breath or other gay shit.

The worst of them happened a few years ago, I literally couldn't physically breath, it was very fucking scary and genuinely thought that I was going to die, other scary time was when I saw faces in front of my face, like demonic ones or deformed.

The first few times it was really fucking scary for all of us but then we got used to it and currently we just ignore it, we don't use any med or weird stuff.

Can we experimentally prove the existence of higher dimensions? or some way to detect higher dimensions?
