How can I tell if I'm just lazy or stupid? I'm failing computer science.

>was mostly doing fine in the general courses
>first departmental course
>barely able to keep afloat
>probably will pass by the sking of my teeth
should I just give up and switch departments? If I'm having trouble solving basic DC circuits, what will I do once the more big boy EE stuff comes up? Plus, I'm getting real sick and tired of solving circuits after circuits, there's still more courses for circuits.
I picked EE because I thought I'd get to learn about cool stuff like computer architecture, digital design, microprocessors and microcontrollers, robots etc. I don't wanna spend 4 years solving bs circuits. Plus, my depratment has some of the worst fucking faculties that give the hardest circuits imaginable.

Had this for a long time, is that normal? I suddenly got this and never thought anything of it, but it has been years.
