What discovery? That Neanderthals differ in DNA as much as .5% from homo sapiens? Clearly more then enough to justify the fact we could of never breed with them.

Chimpanzee's differ only by .1% and we can't breed with them either.

Altho I would like to be proven wrong here. It'd be nice to hear that Neanderthals somehow survived by interbreeding.
