That's the golden rule. He who has the gold makes the rules. And what rules does he pick?

Surprise, surprise. They pick the rules that increase and maintain their own wealth.

You are now aware that the income gap is horrible and getting worse in the US.

You still sure about that wealth redistribution thing?

tbh, its not really wealth that's the problem, its that wealth tends to grow exponentially at the expense of the poorfags.

Social Democracy, Democratic Socialism, Anarcho-Syndicalism...

ANYTHING BUT THIS.

/sci/, how can we eliminate the power of bullshit propaganda once and for all, so that people can base their decisions on spinless, hard fact?

For example, how do we get people everywhere to dismiss creationism as the collection of fallacies it is?

How do we get people to stop falling for the idea that unions hurt living standards?

And perhaps most importantly, how do we get people to use medicine that has been proven to work, rather than unsubstantiated pseudoscience?

Surely there must be an answer.

The rich-poor gas hasn't been this bad since the Depression.

Not necessarily, but it sure helps.

Also, I agree with the pic: we need to return to much more progressive taxes.

Some of you don't seem to know what has happened with income inequality over the past decades.

The rich are taking everything. Since 1979, the top 1% have tripled their income. The top 20% have doubled their income. The bottom 20%? Increased by about 16%. Over nearly three decades.
