Quantum mechanics scares the shit out of me.

Zombie cats, quantum tunnelling, entanglement, many worlds, ancient aliens, faster than light travel, quantum computation.... the list goes on forever.

Quantum mechanics means that EVERY scary event you can imagine has a non-zero probability to happen and given the vast size of the multiverse it almost certainly happened already infinitely many times somewhere out there. Blowing my mind and scaring the shit out of me every fucking time.

Maybe you two are right.

I mean, I try and do most of the derivations on my own to get the equations that are tossed at us on our equation sheets. In discrete math I'm rocking the number theory proofing (end of text challenge questions, nonetheless), but finding a simple equation for torque in a system is beyond me.

hey /sci/

got a "brain teaser" for you (past exam paper problem)

i've been trying to do it for like half an hour, not getting it.

"In a small lottery, 10 tickets are sold (numbered 1, 2, . . . , 10 ). Two lucky numbers are drawn at random for two prizes. You hold two tickets numbered 2 and 7. What is the probability that you win at least one prize?"

any help would be massively appreciated
