There is a physical fire wall separating the brain from computers making it difficult for this to happen. But every fire wall can be bypassed with enough effort and that doesn't mean this type of brain hacking doesn't happen today. It's called propaganda. Hitler literally wrote the book on it and it's how he was able to turn an entire country into genocidal maniacs. It's still happening today and I'm afraid you're a victim of it.
