Hold the FUCK on.

I never meant to insinuate that communism or the actual book behind it is somehow in the realm of philosophy, it's an ideology like anything else.
I simply posted that picture because it's vaguely on-topic to what my post actually meant and everyone knows your post gets more attention when you attach an image to it.

What I meant by philosophy defeating ideology is just that - once you force a person to ground out their axioms, you can see them begin to crack. Let's presuppose that lefitsts, for example, are objectively correct in the political debate. Leftists by and large are then 'morally lucky'. They arrived at the correct conclusion without being able to properly justify their believes from a philosophical basis.

At the end of the day, ideology is the work of ideas, and ideas can be broken down by the school of thought that directly deals with them.
