Writing a proof for my calc 2 class. Need to know if this makes mathematical sense. Haven't learned enough about infinity yet.

[math] \lim_{x\to\infty} \log x = \infty [/math]
so
[math] \lim_{x\to 0} \log \frac{1}{x} = \infty [/math]
[math] \log \frac{1}{x} = - \log x [/math]
therefore (and I'm not sure I can really do this)
[math] \lim_{x\to 0} \log x = - \infty [/math]
