Do you have any tips to improve one's learning efficiency? Stuff like flashcards, mind maps, and such.

What does it mean if the equation is under this form?:

dy = a*b*dx

What does this mean? I know that the derivative notation is dy/dx (assuming y is the function variable, and we're deriving with the respect to x). But what does it mean if it's broken down like that?

What's the most useful branch of mathematics to study, apart from Calculus 1, 2, 3 and Linear Algebra, which I've already taken?

Which developmental type determines the way you act? I like making tractor and car noises, as well as animal sounds. People often call me 'retarded' when I do that. Which developmental type is lagging in my case?

Also, when I come home and nobody sees nor hears me, I usually roll around on the floor screaming "vroom vroom I'm a tractor" and "beep beep euuhhhh oink", and then run around the house while screaming out random phrases and making random facial expressions.

so here I am calculating this shit:

f(1)=2*(1)^3+8*(1)^2+2*(1)-12

the answer is 0.

That means that x-1 is a factor in f(x), right?

why the fuck does (2x^3+8x^2+2x-12):(x-1) equal =2x^2+6x-4 then -8/x-1

Can anyone explain me this or point out where I did wrong?
