So strength is generally untrustworthy, unless trust is implicit. In the same vein, many people find intelligence to be untrustworthy. The general sentiment is that if you're strong or smart, you're potentially dangerous. If you're both...

The examples of nazi Germany and ancient Greece are also both very warlike societies (The city states of Greece were in perpetual conflict and the Nazis made few and feeble attempts to disguise their intention of world domination. The unison of purpose and necessity of fighting prowess makes physical ability acceptable and even admirable: You are not the weakest link.

The traits of intelligence and strength are often married in villains. The prospect of being faced with someone smarter and stronger than you is profoundly frightening. On the flipside, physical frailty is sometimes shown as a sign of corruption, eg Emperor Palpatine, Grima Wormtongue, the hunchback from 300. The same is true for the Hunchback of Notre Dame, but only to challenge our expectations.

Greetings to /sci/ from /vg/
I come really asking a tremendous favor, as my math knowledge/level was always really piss poor through highschool, i'm now looking to improve upon in mainly in the way of a website sort of like a Wikipedia or an ebook that can be torrented so that i can learn formulas and really how to do math. At my current level the most advance math i know is BASIC basic basic trig and potentially calculating interest however since i'm looking to do a medicine degree I really do need to do a lot of catch up study.

So really, can /sci/ recommend me any ebooks or websites that are sort of like a compendium of mathematics skills/techniques/formulas that i can learn?
t-thanks
