sure it has a shitload of condescending tradesmen but in general there're many genuinely smart people there

some other subjective impressions:

though /o/ has really smart and well versed people, the influx of elliot rogers, grand turismo kids and self-loathing busriders places the board lower then the actual busriders from /n/
(both should still make the top half, maybe even top third)

/x/ > /pol/ both believe in absurd stuff but i remember being able to hold a reltively civil and rational discussion on /x/ and good luck doing that on /pol/
