Obviously the brain generates a quantum superposition containing all possible motor signals, and the consciousness, having chosen a set of body motions through true free will, selects the appropriate branch of the wave function.

This is also why choice signals are detectable in the brain before the person is conscious of their choice in the experiments such as Libet's. The choice signals, when measured, were in a quantum superposition, and the measuring device, being entangled with the brain, is collapsed along with it when the consciousness makes the choice.

The only plausible alternative would be physicalism, which as we all know is falsified by the existence of qualia.

I have a theory: Why don't we use Schrödinger's cat to prove whether animals are conscious? Because only the species with consciousness will collapse the wave function.
