When I was doing my BS I never really considered going to grad school, but after about a year I'm reconsidering and throwing around the idea of getting an MS in a tangentially related subject that I started looking for work in. My GPA was in the lower 3s because I never really geared my habits towards maintaining a high GPA and was really just aiming above 3 for employability reasons. At this point I've been working a job related to the field I want to do an MS in and plan on working in it this industry a couple more years. Are my chances at a higher tier grad school low because of my average undergrad performance? What are some things I can do in with regards to my career to offset my undergrad performance and make me a viable candidate?

lmao out of all the examples you could choose you chose Plato. Plato epitomizes everything wrong with humanities and philosophy in general. He used commonly accepted ideas and """"logic"""" (although I didn't think most of his arguments actually followed any real logic when I read the Republic) to make arguments that have been hugely influential. That doesn't mean he was right(as being right is literally impossible in philosophy which is one of my main problems with it) or that his ideas were valuable.
