How feasible is a diy rocket with gaseous methane and oxygen as propellants? A regular 450 psi carbon fiber tank chilled to -100C can hold about 350kg of methane or oxygen, with a dry weight of less than 10kg. 3 of those, and a relatively simple engine, with a weight of less than 30kg, and some kind of structure to hold it together weighting 40kg, should be able to send a 50kg payload into low earth orbit (about 9400m/s deltaV at an ISP of 300).

At 10 bucks per kg oxygen, it would cost $7000 + some negligible amount for 350kg of methane to fuel the rocket. Maybe $500 for the 3 tanks, another $500 for the pipes, valves, and fittings, and then welding the structure from aluminum yourself.
That's less than $10,000 for a 50kg payload into LEO, or about $200/kg depending on how easy building the engine yourself would be. Since it is using gaseous propellants, there's basically no moving parts, so a simple combustion chamber with a nozzle welded together from 2 halves is all you need.

Anything obvious that I might be missing? How is it so cheap?

Unlike straight lines, there are perfect circles. A slice of the observable universe would be a perfect circle.

My friend.
Can you hear the great whispers of Slaanesh taunting and mocking you across the whole Noosphere?
You have failed, but in your pride you have rejected the common chance to flee and never return in these unholy halls.
4chan is like a beehive, poking it ain't exactly the smartest thing to do.
You will not fix everything just by telling "lol u guise i was just troling xdd"
You are not on Facebook, you are on 4chan.
As Herald of the Ruinous Four and a direct servant of MOOT THE DESPOILER, i hereby declare you as a new born "edgy" meme.
Your name will not be forgotten, and so your face, your attitude and your thread.
Behold, now, Chaos Magick at its finest, human beliefs and wretched boards, you are part of this beautiful cathedral of madness.
Part of 4chan, part of the Internet.
Welcome.
And please, don't touch the cat.

Yeah but this solution is far superior to OPs
>>6458747
OP used 3 for loops, which is O(N^3), something insanely undesirable

So wait..
I heard that women can shut down their uterus like a goddamn airlock when they are being raped as a natural defense mechanism, right?

So if she gets pregnant from a rape she enjoyed it, right? So I think that if the "victim" of a rape gets pregnant from the "rapist" then all charges should be dropped. I mean, shit. She wanted it bad enough to bypass her natural defenses. And if you really want it, it's not rape.

Quid pro quo

Alright so I remember watching this youtube video about the double slit expiriment when I was in high school. I remembered it being cool but I looked it up a few weeks ago and HOLY SHIT guys that blew my mind. I have a few questions:

1. Is there any way the experiment is wrong? Like the measuring device interfering with how the electrons behave instead of the fact it was being "observed".

2. More importantly, is there any explanation for this yet? Any theories about what might be going on? If there is, can someone explain it to me in laymen's terms? That's why I came here instead of researching it myself. Everything about it is in technical jargon I don't understand.

>MFW DR QUANTUM BLOWS MY FUCKING MIND

Alright /sci/ so I'm in Calc I and I have a question:

I think I read or heard somewhere that "integrating" an equation is just a way to get a real answer for 0/0 or infin/infin, right?

So we just covered L'Hopital's rule and I was wondering if that's just another word for intergrating? If not, what's the difference between integration and L'Hopital's rule? And if L'Hopital's rule is just a way to integrate a problem, then can you guys tell me any other ways I might be able to do it?

Just trying to get ahead a little bit, any help would be greatly appreciated :)

ground is a reference. just like in physics when you need a frame of reference to measure things like velocity, you need a reference to measure electricity.
to implement it on a board, you tie all the ground points together.

Hey that kinda makes sense. Uranium made from supernovae, decays into lead. Thanks anon :9 Can't believe I didn't make that connection earlier.
