At what point in your education do you get to a level where you can discuss your ideas deeply with your peers? Do you have to get into the workplace?

I have a bunch of ideas in the fields of Computer Science and Mathematics. I just started my freshmen year at University and I'm a bit underwhelmed. I haven't gone to a math class yet and I haven't met anyone else pursuing a degree in math, but if they're anything like the Computer Science people I've met, I'm a bit worried. I plan to double major in both Computer Science and Mathematics.

Anyways, could i pitch my ideas here and get some feedback?

I am a content creator for a sizeable science page on Facebook.

Help me out with some ideas on some articles I could write. I don't usually post the newer science news, mainly just focusing on what would be interesting to the masses.

Why are the universal constant.... well, constant? are there any purely theoretical derivation or explanation for these constants? (speed of light, permitivity of space, elemental charge... etc.)

If an infinite number of universes exist, with an infinite number of different scenarios and attributes, then in one of these universes, the fact that an infinite number of universes existing, does not exist.

I need some help. A friend and I are sending a weather balloon approximately 100,000 ft up, but we're having problems. We are using my Cell phone as a GPS, problem is we are unable to find an App, or program that will track, or even find the phone. Do you have any suggestions on what I should do?

I don't know if I should be asking you guys, but you're a smart bunch. A friend and I are doing an experiment and we need a device that will tell us our height above sea level, at any altitude. For instant if we sent a weather balloon up, we would need an on board device that could tell us our height, maybe even air pressure. Not stream it, just when we retrieve the device it could tell us how high it went.

So I was thinking...

How many dimensions do dreams have? It's not like anything can be measured in them - I'm not sure if mine are 3D at all, more like sets of shifting 2D images. If there are dimensions inside a dream, is there a limit to the number of them? In this context, is there really much difference from the real world, taken that we are only observing what our brains can perceive - not the real world in itself?

Is this the wrong board for this kind of thing?
