Probably not. It seems all of the low hanging fruit have been picked. Competition is more fierce than ever, and I have a troublesome hypothesis that humans simply aren't smart enough to keep progressing in terms of science, that we have reached the limit of what we can understand, sort of like how a fish cannot understand the world beyond the pond
