Failed engineer here. I failed out of physics II, calculus ll and statics. What is a good move for me to make academically or career wise now with my otherwise superb background in math and science?

It doesn't make you a genius, but there is a basic cut off level of intelligence you need to get a PhD. A legitimate degree, that is.

What's your concept of intelligence? Seems like you are talking about something more like wisdom.
