How do they know to flip us left/right but not top/bottom? What if we turn 90 degrees, they still do it that way, why?

Hi /sci/, I've done a problem using Green's theorem, and I just wanted to check the answer by computing the closed line integral (instead of the double integral), and so I get to different answers. (HELP! :( )

The boundry is the square (0,0), (2,0), (2,2), (0,2) oriented counter-clockwise. The integral is:
<span class="math">\oint_{(x,y)\in C} y^2\, dx + x\, dy=\iint\limits_D (1-2y) dA
<span class="math">\iint\limits_D (1-2y)dA=\iint\limits_D dA -\iint\limits_D 2y dA=4-\int_{0}^{2}dx \int_{0}^{2}2y dy=4-8=-4
<span class="math">\oint_{(x,y)\in C} y^2\, dx + x\, dy=-4
Now, when I calculate the closed line integral directly:
C1: (0,0), (2,0), dy=0, y=0, <span class="math">\int_{C1} 0 =0
C2: (2,0), (2,2), dx=0, x=1, <span class="math">\int_{C2} dy = \int_{0}^{2} dy=2
C3: (2,2), (0,2), dy=0, y=1, <span class="math">\int_{C3} dx = \int_{2}^{1} dx=-2
C4: (0,2), (0,0), dx=0, x=0, <span class="math">\int_{C4} 0 =0
<span class="math">\oint_{(x,y)\in C} y^2\, dx + x\, dy=0
I would be very grateful for help

Why do mirrors reflect left and right but not up and down?

People who believe in the mirror test are fucking retarded. Do you faggots actually think that a dog isn't fucking aware (i.e. has a non-functioning brain) just because he doesn't give a fuck that a mirror reflects his picture? The mirror test is pseudoscience and anyone who actually believes in this faggotry should go back to kindergarten.

>mirror test

Bullshit. The behaviour infront of a mirror doesn't allow any arbitrary interpretation of how is would hurr durr prove a metaphysical "awareness". Pic related, it's a clay pot passing the mirror test.

It is pretty common knowledge that when it comes to different breeds of dogs, we can predict certain behavioral and intellectual tendencies. Some breeds are usually smarter than others, some behave better (according to the human definition of "behaving better," obviously), some are more loyal, are more aggressive than others, etc. While outliers do occur in these predictions, such as some dogs of a breed usually considered dumb ending up highly intelligent and vice versa, it is generally agreed that the averages among breeds still allow us to make educated guesses on how a dog will behave.

Can we make similar assumptions on human beings based upon their race? Why or why not?

Pic unrelated, but it is a clay pot attempting to pass the mirror test.

The 'mirror test' is the most fucking retarded, useless, invalid, and pseudoscientific 'experiment' to ever plague science. Partly because not everyone (human or nonhuman animal) will react the same to seeing themselves in a mirror (some won't give a fuck and will ignore it), and partly because not understanding how a mirror works provides absolutely no evidence whatsoever as to lack of consciousness or 'self awareness'. You put a mirror in front of a caveman and at first he will think it's another person, so what if it takes some animal a lot longer than another.

TLDR; mirror test is fucking retarded and whoever believes it is a disgrace to science and humanity.

What if you made a box with mirrors on the inside and shined light in it and closed it, then smashed the box like a flash bang, but without the bang.
