to add:
genes can duplicate, and a gene that has a certain fucntion might be like a 'jack of all trades' effect, that is fairly good at doing multiple different tasks.
when this gene is duplicated, the information is there twice, and mutations can happen independently
slowly over time, one of the genes can alter, and have a new function, with the other one staying the same. you might have a bacterium capable of creating a new protein that it couldnt before, and yet it hasnt lost the old function, because a gene still exists for it.

it is now more complex, because these are now 2 completely different genes, that are mutating seperately.

ad revenue isn't worth much, they dont pay you much to host ads because very few people who go on a website actually use the ads and buy the products.
if this thing actually works, and each person is getting a minimum of $12, then pretty soon word would spread that you can get $12 for nothing, very easily. thousands of people would start doing this, the website host wpould be losing $12,000 dollars, well, mroe. they'd be losing thousands and thousands of dollars, and keep in mind that almost all these people are completely ignoring the ads (or might even have ad-blocker installed anyway)

the money they get from hosting the ads would be no where near enough to pay this.

dy/dx means y differentiated by x.
integration is the opposite of differentiation. so if you integrate the left hand side with respect to x, you get just Y, and if you interate the left hand side you get x^3.

to integrate an x term, add 1 to the power and then divide by the new power.
so start with 3x^2, add 1 to the power and its 3x^3, and then divide by the power, which is 3, so you just have x^3
