Multiple issues:
>call it utopia
>yet it is a prison with a confined space
>only thing that is provided is "effortless" sustainment

No control such as the decision to leave the utopia into nature and give rats the chance to live on their own.

It's like pretending that people would just be happy when you put them in a concrete prison city without nature where you constantly have to touch elbows with other people, without any chance of having privacy or beeing alone for a while.

This is not a "utopia".
This is a comfortable prison.

This experiment works under the premise, that we forbid the participants to work for their own food and resources and challanges of nature.
There is not even the chance of living "natural" and therefore no choice.
This experiment excludes the freedom of the decision to leave comfort behind to be free and have to deal with natural challenges and risks as exchange.
The meme of "there is only the option to live in population dense areas".
It like pretending that people have no choice but to live in new york.

>be me
>have a garden
>take care of my plants, eat the food I grow
>fells good
>have some cute quails, which eat the insects
>which I pet and eat their eggs
>have friendly neighbors
>which bring their children over to play with the quails
>makes me smile every time

I cannot even fathom now anymore how anyone gets depressed.
But looking at this and all the depressed losers, who work to live on rent in a metropolitan area
>where they constantly touch elbows in public transport
>live in a cement and class jungle
>while they never interact anything which is actually alive than other depressed humans
>no animal, no plant
>all the food is artifical, wrapped in plastic
>sometimes wrapped additionally in colourful cardboard
>then their only other social interaction is social media
>and watching youtubers dunk on topic X while imagining how it would be to have a meaningful releationship
>persuing the hedonistic lifestyle of consoom and coom
>sometimes consoom drugs including alcohol, just to cope

I wonder, I fucking wonder how anyone can get depressed.
Must be some chemical imbalance.

Not that we live in a time in which individuals have no community and are removed so far from life, that the only time when people feel alive is when going to a disassociative environment with loud music, drugs and hedonistic temporary pleasures.
