The economy in the United States is in the shitter and businesses are failing left and right. Figured it would be wise to buy some stock?

Where would be a good place to start learning how to do this such as, who to invest in, where, why, etc.?

I was thinking in the lines of medical marijuana companies figuring the anti-prohibition movement is strong, and repeal of prohibition one day, the dam will break the market will be flooded with buyers.

Does /sci/ like economics ?
I fucking love economics. It taught me how to make money optimally (by selling products instead of working at a job) and make good investment decisions. I believe the world would be an even better place if more bright minds were interested in economics.

Are there still people who prefer rational economics over behavioral economics?

I study economics. The more i study it, the more i realize it's not proper science after all. All "rules" in economics are based on human behavior. Every single act, if you look at race in global, is based on animal nature (or mob nature). If we somehow change the human nature, most economic laws will just break in half. i would like to see what /sci/ thinks about it
