>tfw can do calculus proofs
>tfw found volume of a rotation formula on my own
>tfw found integration by parts formula on my own
>tfw found a lot of the "famous" integrals on my own (arccos, tan, etc.)
>tfw can do the "harder" prove this, show that test and exercise questions
>fails on the easiest part of the exam because of calculation errors everwhere
>literally need calculator to do anything but addition safely
>algebra errors galore
>depending on professor I either get an A or a D
WHY. Have you ever tried explaining to a professor that "No I DO know the content I came up with some of these results on my own I know I missed 90% of the D level questions but please I got most of the A level ones". Yes, that sounds exactly as rambling as it does when I try to explain.

What colour are particles?
Certain matter has a certain colour because its atoms reflect a certain wavelength instead of absorbing it. But what about the particles themselves? What would they look like, assuming we could see them?

Math people. I have some questions for you.

Say you have a group of about 500 people that will vote for things they like through lists. Each individual list may have up to 50 elements.

I have 2 points distribution systems that I want your opinion on.

The first one is relatively simple. The first place gets 50 points and each subsequent lower place gets one point less. So nr 1 = 50 points, nr 50 = 1 point. Presumably since this isn't heavily weighted it would benefit the most popular stuff.

The second system is one where each person is handed 500 points to spend however they like over a minimum of 10 elements (so each one could receive a max of 50 points) or a maximum of 50 (so each one would receive 1 point.

Would you say that using a group that large (about 500 people) the differences between the two systems would be significant? Or by the sheer number of participants they would cancel each other out?

Suppose you act as though God is and [you] lead a life of virtue and abstinence, when in fact there is no god. You will have passed up some goodies in life, but there will be rewards as well. Now suppose you act as though God is not and spend a life of sin, selfishness, and lust when in fact God is. You may have had fun and thrills during the relatively brief duration of your lifetime, but when the day of judgment rolls around you are in big trouble.
