No. Time is not a property of motion (as far as we know). Motion does not "generate" time.

I see where you are going though. It is a common mistake/idea kids often come up with.

>Searle argues that without "understanding" (what philosophers call "intentionality"), we cannot describe what the machine is doing as "thinking".

Seale missing the whole fucking point of the experiment. Then uses shitty concepts.

The chinese thought experiment proves that thinking is "mechanical". The box speaks and understands chinese, just like we all speak and understand our native tounge. There is no fucking difference between the box percieved "thinking" and our "thinking", both are just algorithms, both are mechanical.

Any IR spec pros here? I'm trying to identify functional groups, and I'm unsure how pronounced a N-H bond should be on the IR chart. I have a small bulge from 3650 to 3250 but its not very tall. Height change is from 90 to 80. Anyone have any idea?

why are you so miserable? Were you forced into child prostitution? Are you currently a slave? Are you dying from some horrible painful disease?

surely if you are going to kill yourself you must have some great unjustice in your life. So, what are your problems?

Yes, the natural progression of politics is always to go to the Left. The "right" is always goona lose in the long run.

The right = old ways, what old people want
The left = change, what young people want

The old will always lose (as they die before the young...lol).

>dark energy is a repulsive force

Nope. Where are you getting this bullshit? You reading the bible or something?

Dark energy is purely hypothetical kid. No one knows what its properties actually would be (if it exists).

The sum of the first two numbers
1+2 = 3

(2+1)(2)/2 = 3

The sum of the first 6 number is
1+2+3+4+5+6 =21
(6+1)*6/2 = 21

The sum of the first 100,000 number is

(100000+1)(100000)/2 = 5000050000

The sum of the first x numbers (whole integerss) is

(x+1)*(x)/2

>I was taught that temperature was the same thing as speed which was the same thing as momentum, so if a particle was hot/energetic, it would be moving faster, and the faster something is moving the more dialated its time.

You were taught wrong. A particle has a property called mometum. This is a property of the particle. A volume has a property called tempereture, this is a property of the volume. A particle does not have a property called temperature.

Time can only be dialted between two reference frames. You need to define reference frames to talk about dilatation.

>It sounds like temperature is just a broad measure/average momentum then?

Yes,
Tempeture is related to the average mometum of objects within a certain volume, as well as the degrees of freedom of the objects within that volume.
