Disclaimer: I'm not pro-circumcision. I'm circumcised myself and a bit bummed out about it. I wish i could feel more pleasure when jacking off, I look forward to Foregen, but maybe it was for the greater good

I have a hypothesis that circumcision was invented to promote progress. Having a foreskin feels so good that most men would spend all day every day jacking off and never discovering new things. by taking away that pleasure source, men are forced to find new sources of satisfaction, such as math and science, building things, or making farms to attract women with riches so that they can compensate for pleasure loss by banging dozens of girls

That would explain why so many of the biggest contributors to science are Jews and Americans, and why Muslims were far ahead of the europeans in the middle ages. It may have been one of the contributors to Israel and the USA becoming the most powerful nation in the world

The torah and quran only say to circumcision because "god says so". They won't say what the goat herders really meant, because no one would willingly circumcise if they knew it's meant to reduce sexual pleasure. Lots of religious mandates don't tell followers the reasoning behind them, for example the quran doesn't say pork is banned because it used to be full of worms
