what if the electrons are attracting each other around the protons and neutrons are repelling each other. the more electons in the shell the more inward force keeping the protons and neutrons from escaping. and the crazy bit is the space between the P and N is time itself and the decay of matter is just a ticking clock. the most time was at the Big Bang and oneday everything will be flat. on the same level because all bonds are broken and no 3d atom capsule time sill he left.. just a thought.

You asked:
>How does one go about making water from hydrogen and oxygen gas?
To which "spark" is a perfectly valid if somewhat terse answer. What you meant was:
>How do hydrogen and oxygen combine to form water?

Talking in terms of energy and "bonding" is a heavy abstraction from the physical processes actually occurring. You could get a decent understanding of the underlying processes from a high school chemistry course, but if you're hell-bent on understanding absolutely everything you'll need at least an undergraduate education in physics or chemical physics. See pic related, you usually learn about this stuff in second or third year at a university.

No, really? Isn't it the same thing in the end?

I was researching about it. I think there's no Quantum Mechanics. I'm just a person trying to find answers, but this whole "many universes" thing, or "atom decaying into a point upon observation" thing seems like bullshit.

With big religious tones to it.

This answer is much more satisfying and intuitive: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WIyTZDHuarQ

Were people working 80+ years trying to explain something crazy that doesn't exist?

Are people defending these models just to look intelligent and receive funds from the states?

Are they trying to justify the crazy investments by saying that "we don't understand anything, everything is crazy in the universe?" while not even looking at other possible and more plausible resolutions?

Is it a industry or pure marketing?

Did the scientists forgot what real science is?

Proove that quantum physics is real
