The size
of the 10 ton HOPE is the limit payload of H-2 rocket
capability as well as the limit of the launch pad
facility without need of modification.
The launching rocket of the larger sized HOPE is specifically
specified to H-2 derivatives which mean little major
modification of H - 2 1st stage and H-2 launch pad.

It isan essential condition for the launch pad facility with
compatible uses of H-2 and H-2 derivatives. Under
these conditions, various H -2 derivatives were studied.

Increasing numbers of H-2 SRB to 6 and providing
with in orbit ignition capabilities for both of LE -7 and
two of the six SRBs in ascending orbits, the six SRB-H-2 derivative can have launching capability of the
20ton HOPE into LEO.

Three H - 2 core stages clustered configuration has launching capability of the
25ton HOPE into orbit. However, the largest H - 2
derivative of three H-2 core stages clustered requires a
new launch pad facility.

So far,the 20ton HOPE
launched by the six -SRB -H-2 derivative is the only
feasible solution. Figure 5 shows the 20ton HOPE
base line configuration
