because cigarettes are tasty and enjoyable but it causes DNA damage which has long lasting implications for future humans, most people used to smoke and its still high numbers.
so instead just make it disgusting.
also the larp of >them< trying to kill you, instead "escape"...
even over the short time of my smoking career i noticed changes and it getting worse and more disgusting and chemical tings...
