I even typed out the question on google, sending me to several sites. People tried to answer it correctly, but nobody came up with the answer in the book.

I simply do not know what conversions and steps to take to get to the answer..

I know I can plug in and solve for variables, but I need to know the conversions, to write it down, so I can remember them.

If somebody could kindly put out the steps it would be greatly appreciated. I have a disability in which sometimes my short term memory works really well, and my long term memory suffers. It makes learning math and science difficult. During some episodes I can recall every single detail vividly from my short term memory, but I cant remember how old I am, or what street I live on.

So retaining information for me means putting everything into steps, and repeating it over and over again, I sometimes have to redo a math problem 10-20 times.

I know my teacher curves according to the class curve so do I still have a chance getting a B in the class?

Midterm 1 ---- 30%

Make an equation for a sine function that has this information; 3 x intercepts in the interval (0,4pi), a period of 4pi radians, and a y intercept of 1.

So far i have y=asin(0.5x)+1, how do i find a?

Hey guys, i really don't know how to solve maximum revenue quadratic questions and i don't know how to solve questions like this.

1) A football is thrown and the function that represents it is h =-3t^2 +6t +2 where h is the height in meters, and t is time in seconds. What is the max height and how long did it take to reach this height.

2) A farmer has 1km of fencing, what is the maximum area of a rectangular field that the farmer can make where one side of the field is a lake. Only 3 sides are fence.

Please help this is the only thing i don't know how to do from quadratics. I've done alot but still sometimes find it hard to build equations for questions like 2. Thanks

I guess everyone here is a genius, but I really need help as I just started kinematics. I can do basic problems except I don't understand the right time to use the equations, i can't use them as tools to my benefits,for example If i throw a ball up in the air and it goes 80km/h how high can i throw it? Please help i would really appreciate it,

What pissed me off today is that my family made me go with my uncle to do some work for him today. He lives about 2 hours away from us, so I had to go alone. All day it's been pouring down rain and storming. Meanwhile my fucking idiot brother was at home getting to watch it.

I need help with this problem: The front of a boat on a river has an angle of elevation to a waterfall at 64degrees. The angle of depression to the bottom of the falls fromt eh front of boat is 6degrees. Boat is 2.8m above water, what is the height of the falls?
