How do I find study buddies that are as determined, motivated, and intelligent?
its just sad
>studying next to roommate in library
>"fuck this is so confusing the professor is shit at explaining ima do this tomorrow morning"
>intro to university calculus
or
>invite based asian to do problem sets together
>"ok sorri man nerf club meeting not today man sorri okay next time?"
or
>"ahaha what dude? what homework? AWHH that was due today?"
>(this fucker did his hw too)
or
>the white chicks taking notes about every single thing including the prof's off topic story about his dog and drawing diagrams in different color highlighters

I just wanna find people who wanna seriously study and wanna get to that top 0.01% where do you guys hang out to find people like this

>inb4 autistic
I said study buddy not friend

I see. From what I understand theorists can work in the industry and are of great value to any company that needs to solve problems using computers (and not necessarily *with* a computer.) One company I know recruits about 1 theorist for every 100 code monkey. But it's the theorist that makes everything works.

But of course you have better luck going into academia, which is a plan I bet you already had since you took theoretical courses and ppl who do that most often do not want to go into the industry.
