Alludes to you having no understanding of self-organization of dynamical systems, complex adaptive systems, and living systems, it is all much more complex than a cell and makes the idea of a creator seem lame and unimpressive.

Guys, I've been thinking about the idea behind evolution, and I feel like the initial components of life are what make the idea a little unsound to me.
>things adapt to surviving in the world
>best adapted live
>continue adapting in order to be more efficient
>most survivable traits get passed down
All of that checks out, but why would any of that be the case for extremely early (i.e. primordial soup) life? And why is it the case for extremely simple life, like bacteria and microorganisms?

What would cause the simplest life to ever reach a point where something like a "survival instinct" would happen. Why do biological things even WANT to survive and propagate in the first place?
