Except physics doesn't try to understand underlying realities. Physics attempts to observe and predict what happens, but it is powerless to "understand reality". We can only use physics to understand the universe mathematically, making math purer.

can we discuss wave-particle duality
i dont understand how this works, logically or philosophically. I understood it fine while studying chemistry but sort of ignored the paradox. I probably dont know enough or perhaps we havent figured how it works yet.. anybody care to shed some light on the subject or discuss other parts of the topic
