fuck, i don't know what quadrotors are but that is a really good idea (ok looked up quadrotors, fuck that in a realistic sense, but listen to this)

so, first, just big normal permanent magnets on the bottom (can't cost more than few thousand which beds always gouge us for, right?). then, ropes to secure it and keep it stable...BUT, the ends of the robes are held by very close, strongly attracting magnets.

yes, since gravity is really curvature of spacetime. mass doesn't matter, it's spacetime itself that's curved and causes stuff to fall.
