I assume most of you are Atheist but i want to ask a question to a specific group of them

Atheists that came from an overly religious family be it from Christianity, Islam, Judaism etc etc. How did you prevent yourselves from being indoctrinated and how did you parents react when you told them. I'm genuine interested in how you coped with them.

So /sci how likely is it that we will nuke ourselves to death? I mean they talk about it in books, movies and TV shows but would it and can it become a reality.

I've already proved over and over that God is time; and that the "holy spirit" is space/time - what this means is homosexuality is not hated by God, in-fact God is the reason we recieved the punishment. God fucking hates society, because we're sinning by breaking the rules, destroying nature and poisoning minds with knowledge which is educated to be the 'way forward'. If we disobey the 'way of God/nature' then we will be punished; several punishments can occur:

homosexuality
depletion of resourses
pollution
diseases/illnesses
self-destruction

Were you the typical nerd kid as depicted by todays society or the quite kid that kept to himself? My highschool personally was full of christian retards and i remember this one fat kid called Justin that was exceptionally stupid and seriously christian. I once joked on how fat he was and he made a comment about how it was his genes since he's mum and dad were fat. Then i asked if he believed in evolution to which he replied that he doesn't believe in that bullshit
