I didn't say that, but now that you bring it up - IQ certainly impacts a person's performance in a career (Assuming career is synonymous with a complex job, i.e. not a custodian/ assembly line worker).

I also didn't say that at all. I believe that is also a factor, my point is that it is not the only factor. The currently narrative is that any discrepancy that exists which appears to favour white people (e.g. representation in a prestigous university/ profession) is a product of racism and must be retroactively modified via non-meritocratic processes like affirmative action.
Your inability to interpret a few sentences without misconstruing what was said is unfortunate. Perhaps I now understand why some people allow the screen to do any thinking on their behalf.
