What is the SICP for neural networks? Does it even exist yet?

post good resources for learning how to program in various languages. any language is good. i'll start with the classic

I already have a BS in Math with a focus on linear algebra and some data analysis (python, pandas, sklearn, numpy, sql) work experience under my belt.

If I want to switch to being a Google software engineer, how will this book help me?

Are there any must-read books? I once took an algorithms class that used CLRS but it was a summer course with a bad prof so I didn't learn much. I later went back to read parts of a different book and learned about linked lists, queues, stacks, and I already know sorting algorithms.

It's a Lisp book, not a Java book, but Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs is on the the best beginner books around.
It assumes you're a complete beginner, but the bulk of the book should be useful to you. It's freely available, from the authors, online.

After you finish it, or if you think you're too cool for a complete beginner book, Introduction to Algorithms is a must.
And it'll probably be a textbook for one or two of your classes later.
