the legs have a modular crush core system that's designed to, well, crush in order to absorb impacts. So it's not an "issue", but rather a deliberate part of the design. Though it's a legitimate question to ask why they're activating. Landings too rough? Seas too rough for the barge to handle?

Same idea in SN5 and SN6's legs. The holes drilled into the legs will give way and absorb energy if needed.
