This makes know sense. Are you getting your science info from Full Metal Alchemist? How are you supposed to "un-mutate" cancer cells? You can't. The only thing you can feasibly do, is destroy the ones developing. IE: chemo.

You can't prevent cancer either. Because frankly, anything can trigger a mutation. Trying to cure cancer is going against the laws of thermodynamics.
